Week of March 30 - April 3

 

Quiz/Test Information

• Language Test 13: Wed., April 1 (review pages will come home Tuesday but I will also do some in class with them)
• Arithmetic Quiz 25: Thurs., April 2
• History Quiz 15: Thurs., April 2 (they will study in class, but also need to study p. 531 - need to locate Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina and pp. 550-551 capitals to Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi and North Carolina.)
• Science Final Exam: Start on 4/1/26 and finish 4/2/26
• NO Spelling Test this week, but they can write the words/vocabulary from List 27 and turn them on for Bonus by Wednesday, April 1
• NO Bible Verse Test

Spelling will be bonus this week since it is a review lesson!

Spelling: Write List 27 twice on notebook paper.

Vocabulary: Write vocabulary words x2 and definitions 1 time on notebook paper.

Arithmetic: Lesson 120 (pp. 215-216) - review information.

*If a student does not complete a worksheet in class it will be sent home as homework that evening. Please be sure to check your child's folder every evening (with the exception of Wednesday) and ask them if they have homework!!

Easter Party Thursday, April 2, 2026

NLCA will be hosting an Easter Egg hunt for the elementary on 4/2/26. Please send 12 filled eggs per student by this date! Also, bring a bag or basket for them to collect the eggs. 

The class voted to have McDonald’s along with an ice-cream bar. I’m asking that each student bring in $5 to contribute to this cost of this. If a student does not want McDonald’s they do not have to bring any money in, but please pack their lunch for the day.

Also, the class voted to have an Easter exchange. They wanted to exchange names and buy a small Easter present for their friends. This is completely optional!! Please keep the cost under $20. Small Easter basket fillers would be good for this since they’ll have their baskets for the egg hunt anyways.  

The class is welcome to bring games for the party to play in the classroom. Please reach out with any questions!
