• Arithmetic Test 1 - Tuesday, September 2 
• Spelling Pre-Test (List 2) - Thursday, September 4 
• Spelling Test (List 2) - Friday, August 29. This is words 1-20
• Vocabulary Test (List 2) - Friday, Sept. 5. This is words 21-25 (matching) 
• Bible Verse Psalms 23:1-2 - Verbal Test, Friday, September 5

Homework

• Tuesday (9/2) - 
• Spelling: Write List 2 twice on notebook paper.
• Vocabulary: Write vocabulary words and definitions 2 times on notebook paper.
• Arithmetic: Four-Digit Subtraction pg. 377 #3 only 
• Thursday (9/4) - Study for Bible, Spelling and Vocabulary Test!

Extra Credit

Science: Worksheet 3 - Graphing Skills. Due Tuesday, September 2

History: Chapter 1 Checkup (I'll be sending home a copy of what needs completed) due Wednesday, September 3rd.  I'll have students bring their history book home Friday 8/29. 

Arithmetic: Multiplication Facts 6-12 due Friday, Sept. 5

Literature Fair

Literature Fair

The Literature Fair will be here before you know it! Please pick a book and either send the book in with your child or send the book information on ClassDojo by Wednesday, September 3rd. Once I receive the book/information I will review it and make sure the book is age, grade and school appropriate. Your child is welcome to bring their book to school during the week and I will give them specific time to read. If not, they will have free reading while the others read the book they have chosen. 

Literature Fair on October 2, 2025! You will need to purchase a large tri-fold board. More information to come, but we need to start on those books!! 

School Drop Off and Pick Up Line Etiquette

 

Please remember to obey traffic rules when picking up and dropping off your students.

• We CANNOT block the entrance to Joseph's Crossing Apartments (this is the road right beside our new gym).  
• We MUST leave room for cars to exit that road and turn left or right.
• All cars need to obey the Stop Sign at the end of our parking lot and at the end of the road.
• Drive on the right side of the road (even if there are no lines). 

We must also be patient and kind with one another.

The line will speed up as we get used to it.
